Program Statements
All undergraduate degree programs are accredited by the
Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology. Degree programs
that receive accreditation have undergone an exhaustive peer review
of their program to assure they meet and exceed certain standards.
Accreditation serves many purposes including:
-
Assuring students and parents of the degree program's quality
-
Enabling employers to recruit graduates who are well-prepared
-
Giving university faculty a means to evaluate the quality of
their program and wherever possible institute improvements
-
Assuring tax payers, donors and other stakeholders that their
funds are well utilized.
